We have all sat down to devour a platter of grilled prawns at our local Ocean Basket restaurant, ordered the fresh Sushi, or even enjoyed the trademark Calamari. That was our experience of this seafood heaven when we were approached to look at evolving the Ocean Basket brand and corporate identity. Our approach was to progress with small changes in some areas and more radical in others, in order to make it more contemporary without losing the brand essence of where it came from and the brands natural heritage. With some visual cues, the cleaning up of the logo and the typography, the removal of the oval holding shape, the introduction of a cleaner colour palette and development of the graphic language of the brand, the re-design of the menus and the in-store collateral, the ground work has been set for the next stage of the brands evolution.
